The National Christian College Athletic Association has announced its 2020-21 Women’s Basketball All-Central Region Team. The College of the Ozarks landed two Lady Bobcats on the list.
Jordan Wersinger, a 5’8 junior from Springfield Missouri receive NCCAA All-Central Region First Team honors. Wersinger is leading the Lady Cats in scoring (16.6 ppg), Assists (33), and Free Throw Percentage (89.7). She is second on the team in field goal percentage with 49.6. Wersinger joins Lexi Hernandez (Mid-America Christian), Thamires Andrade (Southwestern Christian), Presley Payahsape (Mid-America Christian), and Danae Goodwin (Oklahoma Wesleyan) on the first team.
Annie Noah, a 6’0 sophomore from Gainesville, Missouri is a second team honoree. Noah is the second leading scorer for the Lady Cats (11.2 ppg), the leading rebounder (7.7) and leads the team in field goal percentage (54.5). Noah joins Jamie Clarke (Southwestern Christian), Hannah Nealis (Oklahoma Wesleyan), Kassidy Forsberg (Central Christian) and Ossyana Ozoani (Mid-America Christian) on the second team.
