Siloam Springs, AR - In a tightly contested game on Tuesday, the College of the Ozarks Bobcats came up just short against John Brown (Ark.), falling 78–76 at Bill George Arena in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. The game featured multiple lead changes and strong play from both teams throughout.
John Brown scored first, but the Bobcats quickly answered behind Jaiden Wilson, who knocked down several key three-pointers to keep the game close. Garrett Snyder added timely jumpers to help College of the Ozarks build a lead that reached eight points. By the end of the first period, the Bobcats held a narrow 31–27 advantage.
The second half continued in a similar vein, marked by frequent lead changes and a tight scoreline. John Brown's defense amped up, managing key blocks and maintaining pressure. Jaiden Wilson and Garrett Snyder continued their impressive performances, but John Brown eventually gained an 11-point advantage, their largest in the game. Despite a strong push by the Ozarks in the closing stages, including a late jumper by Wilson, John Brown secured the victory with crucial free throws in the final moments.
Top performances came from Jaiden Wilson, who led the Bobcats with 24 points, and Garrett Snyder, who added 13 points and 5 assists. Jay Baxter, although contributing less on the scoring front, led in rebounds and steals for the Bobcats, proving invaluable on the defensive end. Looking forward, the College of the Ozarks Bobcats are set to face Southwestern Christian on December 4, in Bethany, Oklahoma.
