POINT LOOKOUT, Mo. - College of the Ozarks used a balanced attack to sweep Oklahoma Panhandle State University 25-18, 25-16, 25-17 on Friday at Keeter Gym. The Lady Cats improved to 6-4 overall and 3-2 in league play with the 3-0 victory.

College of the Ozarks established control from the service line in the opening set, recording eight aces to go with 12 kills. The Lady Cats hit .240 and limited the Aggies’ opportunities on the way to a 25-18 win. Audrey Riley helped lead the serving effort with four aces for the match, while Addison Hammond added three.

The Lady Cats raised their offensive production in the second set, putting down 17 kills and hitting .324. That efficiency widened the margin in a 25-16 victory and gave College of the Ozarks a two-set advantage. Kamryn Link and Riley directed an offense that featured several productive options, allowing the Lady Cats to keep pressure on the Oklahoma Panhandle State defense.

College of the Ozarks delivered its sharpest attacking performance in the third set. The Lady Cats collected 19 kills with only three attack errors, posting a .552 hitting percentage to close the sweep 25-17. The strong finish completed a match in which their attack percentage improved in every set.

Cora Rutledge and Anna Brunner led the offense with 10 kills apiece. Rutledge hit .529 with one error in 17 attempts, while Brunner finished at .500 on 16 swings. Brinley Watson added nine kills, and Riley contributed seven kills and 15 assists. Link handed out a team-high 18 assists and collected six digs. Emma Godwin anchored the back row with a match-high 15 digs.

The Lady Cats finished with 48 kills, 43 assists and 11 service aces while hitting .374. They held the Aggies to 19 kills and a .105 attack percentage. At the net, McKenna McClure recorded one solo block and two block assists, while Kalli Noell added two block assists and seven kills. College of the Ozarks hosts Wayland Baptist University on Saturday at 1:00 and then travels to face John Brown University(Ark.) on Tuesday at 6:00.
