Lady Cats Fall to Drovers in SAC Match

Point Lookout, MO - In a hard-fought conference volleyball matchup at Keeter Gym on Saturday, the College of the Ozarks Lady Bobcats fell to the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma Drovers, 1–3.

The match opened with the Drovers taking the lead, winning the first set 25-14. The Lady Cats struggled to fend off the offensive power of the Drovers, leading to a close second set, ending in a 23-25 loss for the Lady Cats. However, C of O bounced back in the third set, securing a 25-20 victory. The set three momentum was not enough as the Lady Cats fell short in the fourth set with a 19–25 loss.

Key players for the Lady Cats included Bri Linehan, who led the team with 13 kills, and Cora Roweton, who contributed significantly with 10 kills and 6 blocks. Anna Brunner also stood out with 10 blocks and added 5 kills. On the defensive side, Gabby Bozzay led with 13 digs, while Anna Howe and Kamryn Link each put up 9 digs. Audrey Riley contributed 19 assists, to provide offensive opportunities.

The Lady Cats are scheduled to face the Evangel Valor at AG Financial Arena in Springfield Mo, on Wednesday, October 1, 2025. With a current record of 10-4 overall and 5-4 in the conference, The Lady Cats will look to rebound from the loss and get back into the win column. The Lady Cats took the last match with Evangel in a five-set thriller on September 3 in Point Lookout.
