Point Lookout, MO - The College of the Ozarks Men’s Basketball Bobcats achieved a big win against Crowley's Ridge (AR) during their homecoming game on Saturday, at Keeter Gym. With standout performances from Andrew Dalton and his teammates, the Bobcats wrapped up the regular-season matchup with a decisive score of 76-61.
In the first half, the Pioneers took an early lead with a three-pointer from Azani Smith. The Bobcats answered, with DJ Quarles sinking a quick three of his own, and Andrew Dalton began his strong day with a bucket. Dalton came alive and propelled the Bobcats to an 11-point lead by the end of the half, finishing at 37-28. His crucial three-pointers just before the end of the half closed played a vital role in solidifying their commanding advantage.
The second half showcased the Bobcat momentum in front of the Homecoming crowd. They steadily increased their lead to an impressive 16 points midway through, fueled by consistent scoring and strong defense. Key three-point shooting and several fastbreaks energized the team and extending the gap against the Pioneers.
As the game wound down, the Bobcats maintained their defensive focus and offensive execution, finishing with a 15-point margin. Leading the charge were Andrew Dalton with 24 points and 4 assists, and Garrett Snyder, who grabbed 6 rebounds and made impactful assists. Tyler Jeremiah and Reece Johnson also made important contributions in rebounds and defense, solidifying the team's win.
Looking ahead, the Bobcats are gearing up to take on William Woods University on Wednesday, at Point Lookout.
