Basketball Honors Announced for Lady Cats and Bobcats

Point Lookout, MO - The College of the Ozarks Bobcats and Lady Cats have entered the post-season portion of the 2025-26 campaign and with it comes the announcement of season accolades.

The Bobcats were represented on the Sooner Athletic Conference teams by Garrett Snyder, who received Honorable Mention recognition. Snyder is averaging 15.8 ppg and has dished out 77 assists on the season. Along with the SAC honors, Reece Johnson, Tyler Moore, and Bryce Butler have been recognized as NAIA Scholar-Athletes. In order to achieve this status, a player must be a sophomore or above in academic standing and achieve a 3.5 cumulative grade point average.

For the Lady Cats, Logan Jones has received First Team All-Conference recognition. Jones is averaging 16.4 ppg. has 105 assists, and 57 steals on the season. Keara Mattingley is a Second Team All-Conference honoree with her average of 15.2 ppg, 219 rebounds, and 36 steals on the season. Mattingley has also been selected as a member of the Sooner Athletic Conference All-Defensive Team. Freshman standout guard, Ashlen Garrett rounds out the All-Conference recognition as an All-Conference Honorable Mention selection. She has made an immediate impact as a Lady Cat and is averaging 13.5 ppg, 159 rebounds and has grabbed 58 steals on the season. She was also selected as an All-Freshman Team honoree. The Lady Cats were also represented on the conference tournament All-Tournament Team with Logan Jones and Keara Mattingley receiving recognition. Two Lady Cats also receive NAIA Scholar-Athlete honors with Logan Jones and Keara Mattingley achieving the 3.5 cumulative GPA.

NCCAA awards and recognition are yet to be announced.
