Point Lookout, MO - The College of the Ozarks Lady Cats captured an impressive victory in their final SAC conference volleyball match of the season on Saturday. As part of the Homecoming Weekend celebrations in Point Lookout, MO, the Lady Cats swept Langston University in straight sets, 3–0, closing out their home league schedule on a high note.
The Lady Cats came out strong in the first set, taking a commanding 25-15 win. They carried that momentum into the second set, widening the gap with a 25-10 win. In the third and final set, the team closed out the match with a 25-13 victory, completing a clean 3-0 sweep.
The Lady Cats showcased a strong serving game, highlighted by Emma Godwin with 3 aces, while Audrey Riley and Faith Klindworth each added 2. Playmaking was equally impressive, as Audrey Riley tallied 17 assists, Kamryn Link added 16, and Anna Howe contributed 5, helping the team maintain a consistent offensive rhythm.
This victory highlights the skill, teamwork, and determination of the College of the Ozarks women’s volleyball team, improving their season record to 17-11 overall and 12-10 in conference play. As the team celebrated this win, they also capped off a competitive season, demonstrating resilience, coordination, and the growth they achieved throughout the year.
The Lady Cats will now prepare for the Sooner Athletic Conference Tournament where they will open play on Tuesday.
