Point Lookout, MO - Anna Brunner (Fr., Spokane, Mo.) a middle blocker for the College of the Ozarks Lady Cats has been named the Sooner Athletic Conference Defender of the Week and the National Christian College Athletic Association National Defensive Student-Athlete of the Week.

Brunner aided the Lady Cats to a 2-1 record last week with 28 total blocks for an average of 2.00 blocks per set over the three matches. Brunner had 11 total blocks with three solo blocks in a 3-2 victory over Mid-America Christian. Brunner also added 23 kills on 44 total attacks during the week.
