Head Coach Becky Vest Mullis is pleased to announce the verbal commitment of three area players for the 2019-20 recruiting class.
Julie Stone is a 5’7 shooting guard from Thayer High School. In her junior season, Julie averaged 17.5 ppg, 5.5 rpg, 5.3 apg, 4.7 steals per game while shooting 50% from the field. She shot 39.4% from the three point line and 71% from the free throw line. Stone is a three-time All-District selection, three-time All-Conference selection, and two-time SCA Conference Player of the Year. Last season, Julie led her team to a 25-1 record, including an undefeated regular season before falling in the district finals to the eventual state champion. Julie is a multi-sport athlete, also competing in volleyball.
Harper Little is a 5’6 guard from Clever High School. Harper has scored over 1,200 points in three seasons for the Lady Blue Jays. She averaged 17.3 ppg, 4 rpg, 5.5 apg, and 5.5 steals per game in her junior season. Harper shot 43% from the field, including 37% from the three point line. Harper was named SWCL Conference Player of the Year as a junior. She is a three-time All-District and three-time All-Conference First Team selection. Harper led her team to the SWCL Conference Championship a year ago and to the district championship game the past two seasons. Clever also finished in third place in the prestigious Pink and White Holiday Tournament last season. Harper is a four-sport athlete, also competing in volleyball, softball, and track.
Kayley Frank is a 5’9 forward from Strafford High School. Kayley averaged 14.6 ppg and 8 rpg during her junior season. She is just six points away from hitting her 1,000th career point. Kayley is a three-time All-Conference and All-District performer, and she also achieved an All-State selection her junior season. Kayley brings with her a career record of 99-3, as well as three state championships. Her team finished the 2018 season with a national ranking of 20th overall and 5th in the nation of public schools. Kayley is a three-sport athlete, also competing in golf and softball. She qualified for the state golf tournament and her softball team has won two state championships.
