We are excited that both the Lady Cats and Bobcats are competing in the NAIA DII National Championships, and we want to help you cheer from afar!  Below are multiple ways you can follow them.  Of course, we will continue to post game results on our web pages, but here are opportunities for live participation.

Opening Round Game Times:  Bobcats – Thursday at 7:30 PM; Lady Cats – Thursday at 8:45 PM

Watch the Games LIVE via Video Stream

Because these are national championships, there is a fee associated with viewing the games.  The live stream link is: https://portal.stretchinternet.com/naia/

      A few (hopefully helpful) instructions:

  • Plan ahead and purchase your pass before game time, as it will take a few minutes to set up your account.
  • The link should take you directly to “live events”
  • Click on the date at the top left and select the date of the game you wish to watch
  • Then, to the right you will see a box titled “All Sports” - select the sport (women’s basketball or men’s basketball), and a list of all the games on that date for that sport will pop up
  • Find the game you want to watch and click on the TV screen/box to the right of the game
  • A message will pop up to have you set up an account – just follow the instructions
  • Once your account is set up, it will give you options for purchasing a streaming pass.  You can select one game only $9.95 or the entire tournament $34.95.  If you purchase a tournament pass, remember it is good only for one sport – so, if you want to watch the men’s game and the women’s game, you will need to purchase two separate game or tournament passes (but you will use the same login account for both).
  • Each time you go to watch a game, you will log in with your email address and the password you set up initially – then you just select your game and you should be all set to go.
  • Remember, sometimes the schedule falls behind, so you may get a message that the game is not on yet. Games may start late, but they will not start earlier that published times.
  • Also, if you should have trouble getting the stream, try opening it differently (for example, if you typically use Internet Explorer, try using Google Chrome).  Stretch Internet also has a support team.  If I recall correctly, there is a spot when you open the game that gives you some instructions and help.

Radio Coverage

We are still finalizing radio coverage for the games, but we anticipate they will be covered on one or more of the Hometown Radio Stations - likely KRZK 106.3 or KCAX 98.1 FM/AM 1220.  You can also go to:  https://www.hometowndailynews.com/

Experience NAIA Championship App

If you’d like to follow along with the NAIA National Championships on your mobile devices, go to the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play Store (android) on your phone or tablet and type “Experience NAIA Championship” in the search bar.  It is free and will provide you with updated information throughout the tournament.
