College of the Ozarks golfers traveled to Ardmore, Oklahoma early this week to compete in the Southwestern Christian Dornick Hills Invitational.

The women played 18 holes and the men played 36 on Monday, but the scheduled two-day event was unfortunately cut short due to weather conditions on Tuesday.

The Bobcats finished the event in 10th place, with Jon Bell finishing in a tie for 22nd place out of 57 golfers.  Bell shot 76 in round one and 77 in round two, sinking seven birdies for the day on the par 70 course that measured close to 6,600 yards.  Next in line for the Bobcats were Ricardo Devoto, who shot 84/79, and Marcos Devoto, who posted an 82/84.   Full results can be found here.

The course played fairly tough for the ladies on Monday, with +6 being the best score posted on their par 71 course. Lady Cats were led by Hannah Aherin, who finished in 12th place.  She was closely followed by Skylar Kistler, just four shots behind, in a tie for 15th.  The Lady Cats finished fifth on the day.  Full results can be found here.

The tournament represented the completion of the fall season for both teams.  They will practice through the winter months and return to action in the spring for the balance of their season.
