In their first tournament of the season, the Lady Bobcats finished 7th of eight teams, College of the Ozarks women played 18-holes both Monday and Tuesday morning in the Evangel Fall Invitational, posting a team score of 797, missing sixth place by only four strokes.
Hannah Aherin, in her collegiate debut, followed Monday's round of 95 with a 92 on Tuesday, to lead the Lady Bobcats in the tournament. Aherin joined the Lady Cats this year from Ozark High School and is settling in well. Returner Kate Voss, a sophomore from Cuba, Missouri, also improved upon Monday's round of 96 to post a 92 on Tuesday.
Coach Larsen noted he was very pleased to see the efforts made by Voss, Aherin, and Kistler to improve their scoring in Tuesday's round and provide a solid start to the season.

Both the men's and women's teams will head to the NCCAA Regional Tournament at Auburn Hills in Wichita, Kansas early next week.
