College of the Ozarks Bobcats traveled to Tennessee for the weekend and defeated Fisk University by a score of 80-67 on Friday evening.
The Bobcats were cold from the field in the first half. They shot 41% and committed 11 turnovers. The second half was a different story, however, as CofO shooters heated up, connecting on 8-of-12 three pointers, and committing only six turnovers.
Fisk played great defense, causing the Cats to rush their shots and force some turnovers. The Bobcats settled down, though, in the second half and played much better on the court. CofO had five players in double figures, led by Ethan Davidson with 24 points.
The win improves the Bobcats' record to 7-3 on the season. CofO will take on Welch College on Saturday at 3:00 p.m. Live coverage is scheduled to be provided here.
