College of the Ozarks Lady Bobcats volleyball saw a big crowd on hand to join them Tuesday evening in celebrating their seniors—Halle Huffman, Alex Spears, and Kayli Grant.
Following the senior recognition, the Lady Bobcats quickly got down to business, defeating Central Baptist College (Ark.) in three sets, 25-6, 25-9, and 25-13.
The Lady Cats were led by Spears, who posted a double-double on the evening, slamming 12 kills and collecting 13 digs, while adding 2 blocks and committing just one attacking error. Rielly Dobbs dished out a game-leading 35 assists and served up four aces. Haley Stallings led all players with 24 digs, as Grant and Maggie Plake each tallied 3 blocks. College of the Ozarks hitting percentage was strong at .361, while holding Central Baptist to a -.057.
The Lady Bobcats, who are now 24-5 on the season, will take a little break in the action, with their next game taking place at Haskell University on October 20th. College of the Ozarks will return to their home court on Thursday, October 25th to face some tough competition from William Woods University
