College of the Ozarks men’s basketball senior forward Ethan Davidson has been named Association of Independent Institutions’ (A.I.I.) Men’s Basketball Player of the Week for the week ending November 17, 2018.
Over the course of the week, the Bobcats defeated NAIA Division I Evangel University (78-72) and NAIA DII #2 Indiana University East (96-83), while suffering a tight 106-108 loss to NAIA DII No. 20 Indiana University Southeast, all on the road.
Davidson had a phenomenal week for the Bobcats, going 32-48 (66.6%) from the field. The Hollister, Mo. native averaged 31 points and 11.66 rebounds per game over three-games. Davidson went an impressive 27 of 29 from the free-throw line and also added 8 assists and two steals on the week, while recording three double-double performances. Davidson put up a career-high 39 points in his team's upset of #2 Indiana University East on Saturday afternoon, which included draining 16 of 16 from the free-throw line.
