Rhett Hill Signing
College of the Ozarks Head Coach Neale Richardson is pleased to announce the signing of Rhett Hill for the 2019-2020 Bobcat baseball season. Hill has been a standout multi-sport athlete for four years at Fair Grove High School.
Hill is a right-handed pitcher, who has been recognized multiple times as an All-Conference performer. His baseball accolades include First Team All-Conference DH and First Team All-Conference pitcher. Rhett has received All-District honors as well: First Team utility, First Team pitcher, and 2nd Team pitcher. In his junior year, Hill went 6-3 on the mound, throwing 58.2 innings, while recording 84 strikeouts, 16 walks, and 19 earned runs. Hill was also a force to be reckoned with at the plate, where he batted .349 with 2 homeruns, 20 RBI, 6 doubles, and 29 hits.
As a football player, Hill has played quarterback and linebacker, being recognized at both the All-Conference and All-District levels. He also earned SWMO Coaches Association honorable mention and All-Region at quarterback. Hill closed out his senior football season by winning a conference championship. He threw for 2,629 yards, 29 passing touchdowns, 516 rushing yards, and 2 rushing touchdowns.
Hill has been a starter in baseball every season and has played multiple positions during his time at Fair Grove High School. Coach Richardson looks forward to Hill being a great addition to the Bobcats’ rotation.
