Emily Staal is returning from Central City, Iowa for her senior season with the Bobcats. During her high school cross country career, Emily set course records and was the Class 1 State Champion her sophomore year. During her sophomore season with the Bobcats, Staal earned 5th place in the St. Louis Fall Cross Country Classic. Emily had a very impressive junior season. Stall won the Women’s 5K at the Haskell Invitational with a time of 19:13.1 and ended the season as an All-American at the NCCAA National Race, helping her team secure the third-place finish overall. For her final season, Emily hopes to contribute an encouraging attitude and competitive spirit to the team. Emily is pursuing a career in nursing. In her free time, she enjoys hiking.
