Returning to Point Lookout for his final season with the Bobcats is senior guard, Reece Johnson. In his high school career, Reece earned All-State honors in basketball and cross country (x2). Johnson was also named the Southern Illinois’ Cross Country Runner of the Year in 2019 and Student Athlete of the Year in 2021. Reece comes to the Bobcats from Rend Lake College where he was a part of the basketball team and was named an NJCAA Academic All-American. This year, Reece hopes to be a leader, and to help the team grow physically, mentally and spiritually both individually and together. Reece enjoys reading, traveling, and long walks on the beach. Reece also hopes to become an FCA Leader someday.
