Coming to Point Lookout for his first season with the Bobcats is junior guard, Reece Johnson. In his high school career, Reece earned All-State honors in basketball and cross country (x2). Johnson was also named the Southern Illinois’ Cross Country Runner of the Year in 2019 and Student Athlete of the Year in 2021. Reece comes to the Bobcats from Rend Lake College where he was a part of the basketball team and was named an NJCAA Academic All-American. This season, he hopes to bring leadership and energy to the team. Outside of basketball, Reece enjoys reading and traveling.
