Joining the Bobcats from Southwestern Christian University, Koontz is looking to be a left-hand pitcher for the team. Holden is from Fairmont, MO, where he went to Pioneer High School and was awarded Pitcher of the Year, Great Plains All-Conference, and All-Region for his performance in baseball. He also excelled in academics, earning Salutatorian of his class. This year, Koontz hopes to be a reliable teammate above all else. He wants to be someone who pushes others to be the best they can be. Holden would also like to be a spiritual leader for the team. Off the mound, Holden enjoys going to church, golfing, and being with his friends.
