Mica Chadwell, returning junior reigning from Strafford, Missouri, is back to work for another successful season. During her time at Strafford High School, Mica was named three-time All-District, three-time All-State, Academic All-State, All-MLC, and two-time volleyball team captain. Mica was also a key player on Strafford’s historic women’s basketball team, with four state titles during her campaign. Mica proved to be a threat for the Lady Cats as a libero and defensive specialist, receiving NCCAA D1 Third Team All-American her freshman year and leading the team in digs and aces the past three seasons. Last season, she was named an NCCAA National Defender of the Week three times. Mica is pursuing a degree in Nursing with a minor in Psychology. She enjoys running, spending time with friends, and reading in her free time. Mica wants to push her teammates to be the best players they can be while being a positive influence on and off the court.
