Point Lookout, MO - Susanna Moran of the College of the Ozarks Lady Bobcats has been honored with two prestigious awards following her exceptional performance last week. Moran, a key player for the Lady Cats, has been named the Sooner Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week and the NAIA National Offensive Player of the Week. The national award is voted on by conference and institutional sports information directors from around the country.

Moran paced the Bobcats to a pair of conference wins last week, averaging 23.5 points per game while shooting 54.5 percent from the field. Moran also added seven offensive rebounds and a pair of assists in the two wins. Moran led the Bobcats in an 81-76 win over No. 22 Mid-America Christian with 30 points and 18 rebounds.

The recognition from both the Sooner Athletic Conference and the NAIA underscores Moran's significant contributions and her role as an influential player in the NAIA. Moran currently ranks third in the NAIA in rebounds per game with 14.3 per contest. The accolades reflect her hard work, dedication, and outstanding abilities in a highly competitive environment. Moran's achievements are not only a personal success but also bring honor to the Lady Cat basketball program.

Moran becomes the first Sooner Athletic Conference player to earn the national offensive award this season.
