Point Lookout, MO – Coach Becky Mullis and the College of the Ozarks Lady Bobcats are excited to announce the signing of three top recruits for the 2023-2024 season.

Keara Mattingley is a 5’11 guard from Archie, MO.  As a junior, Keara was a Class 2 All-State selection, 1st Team All-District, and 1st Team All-Conference.  She averaged 16ppg, 9 rpg, and 3 spg a season ago.  She is having a spectacular senior year, leading the Whirlwinds to a strong season.  “Keara is a high character, responsible, and kind young lady, who will be a great fit for our college and women’s basketball team.  Her ability to shoot the three and get to the basket will fit well within our system.  Her length and athleticism will make her a tough matchup on the offensive end and a force on the defensive end.  Keara is a great teammate, which will continue our tradition of Lady Cat success.”

Logan Jones is a 5’9 point guard from Mansfield, MO.  Her twin sister Lauren will join her for the 2023-24 Lady Cat class. She is a two time All-Conference and All-District performer, along with being an All-State selection a year ago.  Additionally, Logan earned All-State in cross country and track.  She is currently averaging 15ppg, 5.6rpg, 3.7apg, and 2.3spg.  “Logan is a fierce competitor, determined to do her best in all she attempts.  She can handle the ball, is a great passer, can get the basket, as well as has a strong mid-range jumper and a high percentage three-point shooter. Logan’s strong guard skills will help to continue our tradition of great guard play.  Most importantly, Logan is a high character individual and a great teammate.  She will be a great asset to our college and program.”

Lauren Jones is a 5’9 senior shooting guard from Mansfield, MO.  She joins her twin sister Logan for the 2023-24 recruiting class.  She is a two time All-Conference and All-District performer.  Lauren is averaging 12.5ppg, 3.5rpg, 2.4apg, and 1.5spg.  “We’re thrilled Lauren chose to join our program next season.  She is a high character young lady who will represent our college and program at the highest level.  Lauren is a great threat from the three- point line, a strong ball handler, and relishes taking shots in big situations.  She is a terrific teammate and competitor who we believe will be a impactful player for our program.”

Coach Mullis and the Lady Cats are excited to welcome Keara, Logan, and Lauren to Bobcats Nation!
