C of O women's basketball coach Becky Mullis is pleased to announce the addition of Blue Eye star Avery Arnold for the 2022-23 season.  Originally signing with Lyon College, Avery decided to re-open her recruitment following a coaching change at the college, eventually choosing the Lady Cats.  Avery is a highly decorated athlete, earning All-State (2x), All-Conference (3x), and All-District (3x) honors, as well as leading the Lady Bulldogs to three straight Final Four appearances.  She scored over 1400 career points, set a school record of 110 three pointers made in a season, was the conference Defensive Player of the Year, while averaging 16.4ppg, 2.3rpg, 2.7spg, and 2.4apg.  Avery joins a talented 2022-23 class including Hannah Evans (Ava, MO), Susie Moran (Whitehouse, TX), Taylor Rush (Batesville, AR), and Isabel Rohfling (SBU, New Covenant, Rogersville, MO).
