McPherson, KS - The College of the Ozarks Baseball Bobcats traveled to McPherson, Kansas for a Sooner Athletic Conference matchup with the Central Christian Colege Tigers. With weather looking to be a factor, the games were moved up a day with hopes of getting the games in.

In game 1 of an SAC doubleheader on April 3, the College of the Ozarks Bobcats secured a narrow victory over the  Tigers with a final score of 3-2 in McPherson, Kansas.

Charlie Parker was the standout player for the Bobcats, delivering a game-changing 2-RBI homerun in the 3rd inning. His efforts didn't stop there, as he also contributed another hit and an additional run, summing up his contribution to three of the team's runs.

Kyle Beeman's critical run in the 5th inning, scored on a passed ball, proved decisive in clinching the win for the Bobcats. Starting pitcher Brody Baumann provided stability from the mound, pitching six solid innings and contributing three strikeouts for the win.

In game two of the doubleheader, the Bobcats turned what was a competitive game into a clear display of dominance, particularly in the later innings. The Bobcats, whose lineup included standouts such as Charlie Parker, Hunter Lewis, and Trey Riley, saw multiple players contributing to the score. These players, along with Craig Busse and Brody Tyler not only scored runs but also secured crucial RBIs, pushing the team ahead.

Brody Baumann delivered a home run in the fifth inning. Cameron Jennings, the starting pitcher for the Bobcats, also provided a solid effort for the Cats. Jennings pitched over six innings, striking out four batters and paving the way for the team's success. The relentless offensive pressure culminated in the ninth inning when the Bobcats exploded for eight runs. Key plays included Cole Hilton's 2-RBI double and Keegan Stone's RBI single, which decisively sealed the game for Cats.

The final game of the series was canceled as the rains moved in and made field conditions too trecherous to play.
