In a thrilling Sooner Athletic Conference basketball game held on Thursday, at Oklahoma City University, the College of the Ozarks Bobcats narrowly edged out the Southwestern Christian University Eagles with a final score of 77-76. 

The game, which had to be relocated due to a flood at the Eagles' home gym, saw the Bobcats take a solid lead at halftime, with the scoreboard reading 41-33. The tight contest concluded in dramatic fashion as Bobcat Andrew Dalton scored the decisive basket, ensuring a victory for the College of the Ozarks. Top performer Garrett Snyder significantly contributed to the win, pouring 24 points, 8 rebounds, and a block. 

Other key contributions came from players like Andrew Dalton, who besides the winning basket, added 13 points and 8 rebounds. DJ Quarles also stood out with 9 points, 2 rebounds, and 3 steals. Overall, the team showed depth with valuable plays from multiple members adding to the narrow margin of victory.

The win adjusts the Bobcats' season record to 8-12, with a conference record of 7-11 in the SAC. The team looks to carry this momentum into their next game against Mid-America Christian University at home on Saturday, at Keeter Gym.
