Melaina Wilson joins the Bobcats as a freshman from Willow Springs, Missouri. Attending Willow Springs High School, Melaina racked up many accomplishments that include: All-District, All-Sectional, and becoming a State Qualifier in Tennis; All-Conference (4x), All-District (2x), and All-State in the 400m in track; she also holds her school's 400m track record and won the 23’-24’ Willow Springs High School Girls Athlete of the Year. Wilson is an Animal Science major on the Pre-Vet track who aims to become a veterinarian. In her free time, she enjoys trapping and playing tennis. Melaina hopes to lift up her teammates and encourage and support them during their track and field journey.
