Freshman Melanie McCoy from Scotland, Arkansas, joins the Bobcats cheer team bringing creativity, leadership, and a passion for performance. She attended Clinten High School, where she earned All-American Cheer honors, was All-State and All-Region in choir, and starred in lead roles in two school productions. At College of the Ozarks, Melanie works in the Keeter Center kitchen while pursuing a degree in Vocal Music Education, with plans to become a choir director. This season, she hopes to grow individually, strengthen the bond with her teammates, and contribute new ideas for cheers and halftime performances.
