A.I..I. Releases Conference Tournament Schedule - Lady Cats Seeded No. 1

A.I.I. Conference Championship - Feb. 28-Mar. 1

College of the Ozarks Lady Bobcats  have qualified for the A.I.I. Conference Championship tournament to be hosted by Lincoln College on February 28-March 1.Tournament seedings and schedules for the eight participating teams have now been released.


The Lady Bobcats enter the tournament as the No. 1 seed and will play their first game on Friday, February 28, at 8:00 a.m. (yes, in the morning) against No. 8 seed Lincoln Christian University (Ill.). 


The winner will advance to play in the semi-finals at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 29, with the championship game taking place at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 1.


Also qualifying for the tournament on the ladies' side are:  No. 2 Lincoln College (Ill.), No. 3 Fisher College (Mass.), No. 4 Haskell Indian Nations University (Kan.), No. 5 Wilberforce University (Ohio), No. 6 Washington Adventist Univerity (Md.), and No. 7 Voorhees College (S.C.). 


All games will be played at Lincoln College in the Lincoln Center, 1115 Nicholson Rd., Lincoln, IL 62656.


ADMISSION:  Weekend passes are available for $25 for seat back, or $20 for bleachers. Otherwise the general ticket prices are as follows: $10 for seat backs or $8 for bleachers for adults and children over 8 and $2 for students or $5 for a weekend pass (must show a valid ID); free for children under 8. Please note: CASH ONLYno checks, charge card, or debit cards accepted

The Lady Bobcats have one regular-season game remaining to play at Cottey College on Saturday, February 22.  Their record currently stands at 25-4.
