The College of the Ozarks Lady Bobcats went on the road Friday night and were defeated by Oklahoma Wesleyan University, 95-83. The hard-fought battle between the top two MCAC South Division teams began with OKWU taking a double-digit lead almost ten minutes into the game. C of O responded after halftime, where they closed the gap and got within four points. However, the Lady 'Cats could not overcome the deficit, as OKWU fired back with 52% shooting from the three-point line, sinking 13 treys. C of O shot 39% from the field, and also made 13 three's, but were out rebounded 35-24. Because of the deciding loss, OKWU will host the South Division Conference Tournament in Bartlesville, Oklahoma this coming Friday and Saturday. College of the Ozarks will take on Haskell Indian Nations University in Lawrence, Kansas Saturday at 3 pm for their last regular season game.
