MCAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week

Junior forward Morgan Smith has been named MCAC Women’s Basketball Player of the Week for the week ending Jan. 29.
Smith (Nixa, Mo.) averaged 26.5 points and 7.0 rebounds per game last week in leading the fourth-ranked Bobcats to wins at Oklahoma Wesleyan University and Southwestern Christian University. In an overtime win at Southwestern Christian, she had 37 points and eight rebounds. Morgan also passed the 1,000 point mark in the win over SWCU.  She now has a total 1501 career points.
