No. 9 ranked NAIA DII College of the Ozarks Lady Bobcats defeated Harris Stowe State University 70-65 on the road Tuesday night. The Lady 'Cats (8-3) started out sluggish, but picked up the pace with a 7-0 run to trail by 4 entering halftime. The Lady Bobcats came out strong in the second half, where they gained a comfortable lead with a few minutes to play. Emily Walker earned 16 points to lead the winning effort, and Kayla Kepler added 12 points. Freshman Maggie McMenamy had 10 points, and Alice Heinzler pulled down a career high 12 rebounds. Shanique Buford from Harris Stowe (2-5) led all scorers with 22. College of the Ozarks will face NAIA DI Central Methodist University (6-1) in Fayette, Missouri this Saturday at 2 pm.
