Lady Bobcats Ranked #7 in NAIA Preseason Poll

Lady CatsThe College of the Ozarks Lady Bobcats were ranked #7 in the NAIA 2016 Division II Women’s Basketball Coaches’ Top 25 Poll-Preseason released by the NAIA administrative office in Kansas City (Mo.) on Tuesday, October 25th.

The poll was voted upon by a panel of head coaches representing each of the conferences, Association of Independent Institutions, and Unaffiliated Groups.  The Top 25 is determined by a points system based on how each voter ranks the best teams. A team receives 30 points for each first-place vote, 29 for second-place and so on through the list.

Overall, six of the 12 conferences are represented in this edition of the poll. Three A.I.I. teams were named in the poll:  College of the Ozarks (7), Indiana University Northwest (21), and Haskell Indian Nations University (25).
