The College of the Ozarks Lady Bobcats suffered a loss on the road to NAIA DI Central Methodist University 73-78 on Saturday. C of O fought to make up for a 10-point deficit in the first half, where Kayla Kepler's back-to-back threes and Emily Walker's two free throws brought them within 2 points. However, the Lady Bobcats could not keep the momentum, as they shot 30% for the game and were out-rebounded 53-35. The Lady Bobcats' effort was led by senior Emily Walker with a game-high 21 points, making 11-14 from the free throw line. Kayla Kepler had 14 points and led C of O with 8 rebounds. Alice Heinzler added 13, and Brandy Uchtman scored 10. The Lady 'Cats will face Evangel University on Tuesday, December 10th, for the second time this season. The game will be held at Evangel’s court in Springfield at 5:30 pm.
