The #17 College of the Ozarks Lady Bobcats put up a great fight, but they came up short of a win (70-74) in their game against #12 conference-leader College of St. Mary on Saturday. The score was tied 14 times, with the lead changing on 11 occasions, and neither team held more than a six-point advantage. The Lady ‘Cats were unable to contain St. Mary’s season-leading scorer, Deaundra Young, who tallied 24 points and gathered 8 rebounds. College of the Ozarks was led by Sophomore Brandy Uchtman shooting 9-16 from the field and 2-2 at the line for 20 points. The ‘Cats Kayla Kepler added 13 points, and Jeana Raper put down three shots from 3-point range. The loss brings the Ozarks record to 21-7 (9-3 conference).
