Three Bobcats Run in 2014 Cross Country National Meet

In their first year of Cross Country competition in over 20 years, College of the Ozarks was pleased to be represented by three qualifiers at the 2014 NAIA Cross Country National Championships held November 22nd at Rim Rock Farm in Lawrence, Kansas.

It was  a cool day with slick conditions as senior Travis Dillard, freshman Loyal Carpenter, and freshman Torri Holder took to the unique and challenging course, having all qualified for this national competition based on their season performance.

Dillard posted an 8K run of 28:16.70 ranking him 270 of 320, Carpenter's 8K run was 29:10.30 ranking 296 of 320, and Torri Holder posted a 5K time of 19:56.10 to place her at 179th of 336 runners.

Congratulations to each of these runners, who participated in this national event for the first time in their collegiate career.
