Friday vs Central Christian: Down by 12 points with 1:48 to go in the game, College of the Ozarks came all the way back in incredible fashion to stun the host Tigers, defeating Central Christian College, 84-83 in McPherson, Kansas. Sophomore guard Ethan Murray hit a trio of three-pointers in the final minute to help complete the improbable comeback for the Bobcats. Murray led the Bobcats in scoring for a third consecutive game by finishing with 16 points, including four three-pointers. Senior Nathane Simniok added 15 points for C of O, to go along with a game-high 15 rebounds. Junior Alex Santiago and freshman Nathan Reid added 13 and 10, respectively. Trailing 39-26 at halftime, the Bobcats went on to outscore the Tigers in the second half 58-44, and by doing so improved their record to 17-6 (5-3, MCAC). C of O won the battle on the boards, 46-34 and dished out 21 assists. Central Christian was led by senior guard Aaron Miller who finished with a game-high 22 points.
Saturday vs. York: The C of O Bobcats picked up another big road conference win on Saturday by defeating the York College Panthers, 74-64 in York, Nebraska. The Bobcats were again led by sophomore Ethan Murray who finished with a game-high 18 points, including four three-pointers. York took a two-point lead (32-30) into the locker room at halftime but the Bobcats would go on to outscore the Panthers, 44-32 in the second half. C of O also won the rebounding battle, 51-44. Senior Nathane Simniok earned his second double-double in as many games for the Bobcats, finishing with 17 points and 11 rebounds. Junior Derek Daniels went 5-of-8 from three-point range for the Bobcats in also scoring 17 points. York was led in scoring by Andre Vaughn with 14 points, and Heyvis Jackson added 11 points and 11 rebounds for the host Panthers. The win improves C to O's record to 18-6 (6-3, MCAC).
