The College of the Ozarks men survived a furious comeback by Haskell Indian Nations University on Wednesday night, holding on for a 69-64 road win over the Indians in Lawrence, KS.
Senior Cameron Paschke led the way for the Bobcats finishing with a game-high 25 points, including going 5-for-5 from 3-point range, and added a game-high 6 assists. Senior Kiefer Starbird added another double-double to his season total finishing with 12 points and grabbing 12 rebounds. Freshman DeMon Hyler chipped in 11 points and collected 4 steals in a solid effort for C of O.
The Bobcats who led 43-27 at halftime won the rebounding battle over the host Indians, 34-25. Haskell was led in scoring by freshman Bryon Elledge with 23 points.
C of O improves their record to 11-7 on the season and 3-0 in A.I.I. play.
