On Tuesday evening, November 17, just prior to the tip-off of the men’s basketball game against John Brown University, College of the Ozarks recognized senior guard Ethan Murray.
Murray began his Bobcat career as a freshman in 2012 and has played 30 or more games every season since for the Bobcats. On February 18, 2015 in a game at College of the Ozarks versus Central Christian College, Ethan scored his 1,000th collegiate career point. Since that time, Murray has continued to put up points for the Bobcats. He set a school record in the Bobcats’ 2015-16 season opener against William Penn University for most three-pointers in a game (12), and his point tally currently stands at 1,150.
Bobcats’ head coach Steve Shepherd (pictured) presented Murray with a plaque commemorating his 1,000th point.
