It was a great weekend for the Bobcats, as they picked up two victories at home! Sophomore guard Ethan Murray led the charge for College of the Ozarks on Friday evening as the Bobcats defeated Central Christian College by a score of 83-58. Murray’s 22-point total included three 3-pointers, and he was 9 of 12 at the free throw line. Pete Leonard was also a major contributor, leading the team with 9 rebounds and scoring 16 points. The leading scorer for the Central Christian Tigers was Aaron Miller with 14.
On Saturday, Ethan Murray again took charge, as he scored 25 points, including seven three-point baskets, in the Bobcats’ win over York College by a score of 94-82. Supporting Murray were senior Nathane Simniok (16 pts, 7 reb) and freshman Nathan Reid (15 pts, 7 reb). Leading scorers for the York Panthers were Andre Vaughn with 24 and Remi Mignott with 18.
The Bobcats’ record now stands at 16-6 overall and 4-3 in the MCAC.
