The College of the Ozarks men turned things around on Saturday evening and picked up win number 20 on the season by defeating Haskell Indian Nations University, 86-74 in Lawrence, KS. After taking a 47-39 lead into the locker room at halftime, the Bobcats maintained the momentum to hold on for the win in their regular season finale. The Bobcats were paced by three players with 20-plus points, junior Pete Leonard finished with a new career-high 23 points and 7 rebounds. Senior Nathane Simniok poured in 22 points and also grabbed 7 rebounds, while junior Alex Santiago added 20 points. The host Indians (7-21, 3-11 in the MCAC) were led by junior guard Stand Lovato who finished with a game-high 24 points. C of O is now 20-9, 8-6 in the MCAC on the season.
