Finishing Strong

TFinishing Stronghe College of the Ozarks Men's Basketball Team entered this year's NAIA Division II Men's Basketball National Championship with a  21-10 record.  After opening up the tournament by facing the No. 2 seed overall -College of Idaho - and posting an incredible 88-84 victory, the Bobcats moved on to face Bethel College from Indiana. 

Bethel, also unseeded in the tournament, entered the game with a 27-7 record.   The Bobcats played tough against the Pilots, trading the lead, and taking the game down to the last seconds.  The 'Cats unfortunately fell short by 3 points in a 67-64 loss.  The Bobcats had three team members in double figures (Santiago, Paschke & Simniok) to close out their 2013-2014 season. 

College of the Ozarks is proud of the Bobcats and their achievements both on and off the court.  Special congratulations go out to Nathane Simniok, who was named Honorable Mention to the 2013-14 Division II Men's Basketball All-America Team..
