After losing to the Bobcats earlier this season, the Evangel Crusaders (10-1) evened the score by defeating the C of O Bobcats (8-3) on Tuesday evening, 89-69. The first half took off at breakneck speed with both teams running up and down the court and the lead changing eleven times. Evangel's Zack Kleine led the first-half scoring with 23 points; Simniok (11 points) and Daniels (10 points) led the Bobcats. Both teams headed to the locker room at the half tied at 42. The second half, however, found the Crusaders taking the lead and never looking back. Although Kleine scored only 7 points in the second half, he had plenty of help from Korry Tillery, who finished the game with 23 points and 12 rebounds. Scoring leaders for the Bobcats were Derek Daniels (pictured) with 17, Nathane Simniok (12 points), and Alex Santiago (11 points). The Bobcats will head back to their home court on Thursday evening at 7 PM to face Mid-America Christian University.
