The College of the Ozarks men shot 76% from the field in the first half and never looked back, as the Bobcats defeated Johnson & Wales University, 96-60 on Saturday afternoon at the A.I.I. Classic in McPherson, KS.
Senior Cameron Paschke continued his hot shooting, going a perfect 8-for-8 (including 5-for-5 from three-point range) from the field on his way to a game-high 26 points, while collecting 7 assists. Senior Kiefer Starbird and sophomore Ethan Davidson both collected a double-double on the day. Starbird finished with 11 points and 10 rebounds and Davidson was big with 19 points and 10 rebounds. Freshman DeMon Hyler added 11 points and finished with 3 steals.
C of O, who led 48-30 at halftime, out-rebounded the Wildcats, 39-25. JWU was led by senior Andrew Bonner's 15 points.
The win improves the Bobcats' record to 13-7 on the season and 5-0 in A.I.I. play.
