Saturday, January 14, was College of the Ozarks Associates Day at the Keeter Athletic Complex, and a large contingent of the Associates were in on hand to enjoy the day.
The Associates is an organization comprised of dedicated individuals and businesses committed to the furtherance of the College’s interests and its efforts to provide higher education for deserving young men and women. Membership dues and other donations raised by the Associates are specifically used for the support of special student projects that fall outside of the College’s normal operating budget. Athletics is one of the many programs that have received generous support from the Associates.
Prior to the start of the men's ballgame, the College recognized all Associates in attendance and thanked them for their contributions, which have benefited the C of O Athletic Program in significant ways. Athletic Director Steve Shepherd presented this year's president of the Associates, Tim Thomas, with some Bobcat apparel as a token of appreciation for their support.
