College of the Ozarks senior Cameron Paschke finished with a game-high 34 points, including a perfect 12-for-12 performance at the foul line, in leading the Bobcats to a 83-74 win over Northern New Mexico College on Friday night in McPherson, KS.
The Bobcats trailed at the half, 36-38, but came back strong in the second half to put up 47 points. C of O shot 50% from the field on the night, including four three-pointers from Paschke.
Kiefer Starbird netted another double-double on the season finishing with 10 points and grabbing 10 rebounds, while freshman DeMon Hyler and sophomore Ethan Davidson scored 14 and 10, respectively.
NNMC, who out-rebounded the Bobcats, 38-36, was led by freshman Bryce Simmons who scored a team-high 17 points.
C of O, improving their record to 12-7 overall and 4-0 in A.I.I. play, received 6 assists from both Paschke and sophomore Heath Carmichael; Starbird added a team-high 3 steals.
The Bobcats are back in action Saturday and will face Johnson & Wales University-Denver.
