The Bobcats, currently ranked #15 in NAIA DII, grabbed another victory Saturday evening, as they defeated Central Christian College by a score of 87-77.
The Bobcats opened up slowly, down 7-0 before Derek Daniels scored the team’s first field goal. However, shooting improved to 54.5%, including six treys to take the ‘Cats into the locker room at the half with a 44-33 lead. The second half found Central Christian playing a tighter game, but they were never able to draw closer than a 9-point deficit.
Leading the Bobcats was Cameron Paschke with 24 points and 5 assists. Once again, the Bobcats had multiple players (Alex Santiago-16, Ethan Murray-15, and Derek Daniels-11) with double-digit scoring. Daniels led the 'Cats in rebounds with 8.
The Bobcat victory takes their record to 5-2 in conference and 16-5 overall for the season. They will head north to play York and Central Christian this weekend.
