On Friday, November 20th, College of the Ozarks recognized former Bobcat Pete Leonard. Leonard began his Bobcat career as a freshman in 2011 and played 30 or more games at forward each of his four seasons with the Cats. Pete was a tenacious player for the Bobcats and could often be found diving onto the floor or into the midst of the fans in the bleachers in an effort to save loose ball. On March 3, 2015 in a game at College of the Ozarks versus Bellevue University, Leonard scored his 1,000th career point. Pictured is Bobcats’ head coach Steve Shepherd presenting Leonard with a plaque to commemorate this milestone.
