College of the Ozarks Bobcats rebounded from Friday’s loss in their first conference match up to defeat Oklahoma Wesleyan University on Saturday, 102-77.
Senior Derek Daniels led the charge going 9-16, hitting six of his eight 3 -pointers to garner 27 points while also posting 13 rebounds. Junior Ethan Murray, who drained 9 trey’s and totaled 36 points in last night’s loss, continued his hot hand tonight with 21 points, including five 3’s. Alex Santiago scored 14 points and dished 11 assists. The Bobcats had five players hit double-digit scoring, which also included Pete Leonard (19) and Skyler Frazier (10). OKWU was led by C.J. Ross with 16 points and 6 rebounds.
The win brings the Bobcats’ record to 12-4 overall, 1-1 in the MCAC. The Bobcats will play at home on Tuesday as they continue conference play against Central Baptist College, 7:30 PM, Keeter Gymnasium on the College of the Ozarks campus.
