Bobcats Fall Short in First Game of A.I.I. Tourney

basketballThe C of O Men are one and done in the A.I.I. tournament after dropping a 71-70 decision to Central Christian in the late game Friday night.

The two teams were playing for the third time in as many weeks this season with this game taking on the same direction as the one in McPherson, Kansas, which saw the Tigers lead much of the night before the Bobcats pulled it out. This time however, the Tigers made just enough plays while the Bobcats could not replicate their come from behind magic as a three point attempt by Ethan Murray as time was expiring fell short.

Murray led the Bobcats in scoring with 22 points, while Cameron Paschke finished with 12. Michael Gholston dropped 23 points to lead Central Christian.

C of O is now 20-8 this season.
